Nice day hunting with fellow BGH member

Myself and SoCoKHnter set up a day to try our luck on some coyotes before I headed in for my surgery. We met up at 0515 at his place on the 28th and headed out to some land out east he has permission to hunt. Was a nice day and at the first stop we heard a few coyotes in the distance. We did several stands throughout the day but never saw a yote, I think it was too nice out. Anyway's on the second to last stand we are getting set up and I hear a coyote yelp just to my left. As that is where SoCo is at I just thought he hit the button early on the predator call. Well I was wrong, as it was a real yote that we basically set up on. We tried to draw it in but no luck. We ended up hunting until dark without seeing a song dog but it was a good time none the less. Thanks Shaun for taking me out with you and hope we can get out more once I get healed up a bit more. Also hope we can get out and do some fishing once hunting is over for the year.

Hunting over for the

Hunting over for the year.....bite your toung, hunting is never over.  It is one huge circle of never ending hutns or application from one month to the other. Dancing

It's the same with fishing with the year round season but I haven't even gotten out to do that this year.  Right now I am about to leave for Arizona for a javelina hunt and then when I get home all the time will be taken up getting ready to head to South Africa for a few animals and some sight seeing.

There is never enough time to get all the hunting and fishing in that a person should really do.

Sounds like it was fun to get out in this great weather that we are having, at times I wish that it was snowing and blowing but you can't have everything.

Your right should have said

Your right should have said when we switch to fishing. Good luck in AZ and in SA on your trips. I am sure we will see photos and hear a story or two. Of course we will be hunting Colorado this year but also doing a trip to SD for deer and pheasants and another trip to MS for that buck that did not show this year.
